Madama Butterfly Collection included in the ADI Design Index 2024

The Special Edition, most emblematic of Glamora’s creative and innovative flair in the world of wallcoverings, has been selected by the ADI Permanent Design Observatory for publication in the ADI Design Index 2024, the annual volume that collects the best of Italian industrial design.
This award represents an important milestone that paves the way for the candidature for the Compasso d'Oro.
The products featured in the publication will enter the 2026 edition of the world’s oldest and most prestigious award for production and design quality.

Madama Butterfly Collection proposes on surfaces a dialogue between East and West, contemporary and traditional, compositional freedom, and geometric rigor.
At the heart of the collection design is a predefined juxtaposition of a refined multi-material mix that evokes the warmth of birch, the sensuality of velvet, the porosity of cork and the irregular density of paper, creating unexpected sensory effects, punctuated by a subtle golden joint line.
The nomination of Madama Butterfly Collection in the ‘Design for Living’ category is the result of a rigorous evaluation based on criteria such as originality, typological and functional innovation, sustainability of production processes and formal quality of the product.
A statement – in addition to the German Design Award 2024 – of Glamora’s commitment to responsible design, an outstanding example of creativity and sustainable innovation in the field of newly conceived surfaces, which are becoming increasingly important on the global scene.

The use of different natural materials and the interplay of opposites, from which the calm, rarefied elegance of the Madama Butterfly Collection derives, represent an absolute novelty in the history of wallcovering.
