A hotel with an oriental soul meets the breath of the Alps

On the edge of a forest overlooking the Valles valley in South Tyrol, SILENA – The Soulful Hotel welcomes guests into a place suspended in quiet. Among peaks, light mist and paths that begin just beyond the threshold, an idea of hospitality takes shape, weaving together mountain roots and oriental sensibility.

SILENA was not conceived as a concept, but evolved from the historic family home that still manages it today, transformed over time into a boutique hotel dedicated to inner wellbeing.
The owners, Simon and Magdalena, brought to the project their deep affinity with the Asian world, nurtured through countless journeys. From this dual spirit emerges the hotel’s identity, reinterpreted today by NOA and architect Silvia Marzani in a new evolutionary phase.

Wallcovering: Notte Bella
The design does not construct a story: it reveals it.
Oriental inspiration is introduced with subtlety in spaces that remain connected to the landscape, to the mountain light, to natural materials. Atmospheres evolve around dark tones, deep woods, midnight blues and mineral greys that guide the guest toward a meditative dimension. Lighting is soft and intentional, as if each space suggested a pause, a breath.
Along this path, Glamora surfaces were chosen to amplify the identity of the place and positioned in key areas, turning certain environments into narrative thresholds.
In the reception and lounge, guests are welcomed by the Notte Bella wallcovering—its liquid, contemplative depth immediately evoking the idea of an inner journey, inviting one to slow down and settle into calm.

Wallcovering: Aurea
In the library, the gaze rises to Aurea.
Installed on the ceiling, it depicts a moon surrounded by a flock of birds: a suspended, discreetly luminous image that expands perceptions and proportions. In this setting dedicated to reading, Aurea introduces a near-philosophical dimension—a symbolic sky that evokes the lightness of thought.
Here, wallcoverings are not decorative in the traditional sense but a visual writing that accompanies the hotel’s story: that of a refuge designed not to impress, but to make one feel. Rooms revolve around natural materials, soft tactilities, and woodland scents.

The new chapter signed by NOA confirms SILENA as a contemporary sanctuary suspended between two worlds.
Within this sensitive ecosystem, Glamora wallcoverings become part of the hotel’s rhythm, transforming surfaces into emotional landscapes and visual narratives. They do not decorate: they interpret, amplify and preserve.
