Deco minimalism

Subtle gold details team with different shades of white to define the new face of the Michelin-starred restaurant Ma.ri.na.
Deco minimalism Glamora wallcoverings project
The interior design project by the interior designer Alessandro Pagani, has given a deco style makeover to the restaurant that brought the history of Italian gastronomy to the small town of Olgiate Olona, a few kilometres outside Milan.
Understated details, masterfully orchestrated, create a rarefied and cosy atmosphere, achieved by teaming the light lacquered wood of the panelling with wall mouldings, a parquet floor and designer lamps.

Used in two dimensions, Glamora wallcoverings make the space look bigger and lend it a specific identity.
As you come through the entrance, given warmth by floor-to-ceiling panelling, your eyes are immediately drawn to the ceiling where Aurea, a subject from the Creative Collection Chapter VII, is accompanied by golden swallows and appears to indicate the way to the main restaurant.

Moving inside, the entire back wall is covered with the silk-effect Tamara motif by Divina Collection on GlamSatin and acts as a fresh poetic backdrop with an extra-large floral theme in warm shades of beige, grey and gold. A sort of huge natural stage that, thanks to the light bar set into the ceiling, is a wonderful sight from any angle.
Thanks to the new interior decor, designed in close collaboration with Glamora where the choice of subjects and nuances were concerned, Ma.ri.na now exudes welcoming charm, light and surfaces weaving an effect of intentional references that accompany guests into a relaxing atmosphere, preparing them for a haute cuisine experience.
